Three and a half years since the inaugural TERADAMOKEI Book was published, the Architectural Model Accessories Series lineup has grown five-fold to over 60 sets, along with numerous other exciting developments. As stocks of the fourth print run low, we realized the need for a second edition containing all the most recent information.
This edition will focus on sets created in collaboration with other companies and brands, featuring interviews with their respective developers. One highlight is the inspiring and revealing interview with manga artist Takehiko Inoue of 'Slam Dunk' fame. It's almost worth purchasing the book for the interview alone.
The latest edition includes user submitted photos, a new flip-animation along with a free limited edition mini accessories set as per the first edition.

The Book of Teradamokei, a book I have been wanting to write since the establishment of Teradamokei, is finished. The "Architectural Model Accessories Sets" which originally triggered the establishment of TERADA MOKEI were originally created to make life easier for myself at the office. In other words, it allowed me to be lazy and wasn't a product that was leading me into the future, yet I released it as a support product for architects and architectural students. Now that the average consumer is interested, I have been allowed to shape the product into an item for sale at museum and design shops.
This book is a warm reflection upon the background of the birth of the Accessory Sets, as well as the philosophy and theory of their design therein. The book also contains photos submitted by customers, limited edition sets not available in stores, and other related information. And last, but not least, this book is the first ever attempt to use the "Accessory Sets" in picture book and flipbook comic styles. You're sure to enjoy every page.
Finally, the book also includes limited design Accessory Sets (of a business card size) to pinup posters (folded in eighths within).
